My Fishing Reel

I used different multiplyier reel on difference type of fishing. I divided them into heavy, medium and light fishing. Night and day, jetty or beach I will used different reel. I used reel that suit the type of fishing. It also gave me to try out all sort of multiplyier. Below is the reel I am presently using.

It is the most expensive reel I am using now. I mostly use at jetty night fishing for big fishes with big bait. It spool hold about 250 meter of 30lbs mono line. Super smooth casting and the powerful 6.2:1 Gear ratio make casting and winding back heavy sinker and bait at ease.

My original big game reel. Robust and powerful. Catch countless of fishes. The 4:1 gear ratio is super for big game fishing. Hold about 250 meter of 30lbs mono line. Although it doesn't contain any ball bearing, casting it isn't a problem.

My first multiplyier bought. It also now my heavy beach fishing reel for ray. It 3:1 gear ratio make winding back line easy and light but due to the slow gear, I only used it on a clean beach. The spool hold about 220 meter of 30lbs mono line.

Newly added surfcasting toy. It super fast gear ratio of 6.2:1 ideal for rough ground and long distance fishing. It will be my first choice reel for rocky area. The spool hold about 320 meter of 25lbs mono line.

One of the most trusted reel. It my first choice beach reel. Gear ratio of 4:1 make cranking easy. Although it doesn't have any ball bearing, casting it is super smooth. The spool only hold about 200 meter of 30lbs line.

A super Daiwa reel built mainly for boat fishing but I use it for casting. The 4:1 gear ratio is about just nice to winding. One of my main day fishing reel. So far, casting it is super smooth although it has lost a side cap to control the spool. It can hold about 250 meter 30lbs mono line.

A super smooth casting reel. Gear ratio of 6:1 gave distance casting and winding back line super fast. My main light and distance casting reel. Hold about 250 meter 20lbs mono line.

My main short distance multiplyier. Mostly used at jetty or just need to lob a bait short distance away. Gear ratio of 3:1 make cranking super light. It also act as my light boat reel. Hold about 200 meter 20lbs line.

One of my favorite light fishing reel. No problem on distance casting. Hold about 200 meter of 20lbs mono line. The gear ratio of 5.3:1 is just nice for any light fishing.

My main spinning reel. Now have two spools as I manage to find another one. One hold 30lbs and the other hold 20lbs mono line to suit different type of fishing. I use this reel mainly for lobbing a bait just distance away.

My latest added playing tool. I have been eyeing this reel for a long time. Due to the high price, I hold back buying it. Now I manage to get a used one with a good reasonable price. It will be my second big game fishing reel at the jetty.

My latest baby reel. Look so lovely. Will use it for light surfcasting.
